I’ve always loved Goldie Hawn and lately she’s gone up even more in my estimation.
Although admitting to undergoing a breast augmentation in 2005, Goldie Hawn has always maintained that going under the knife is a private matter. She was quoted in People magazine in 1992: ‘ Why would somebody want to talk about plastic surgery? I don’t think it’s anybody’s business.’
This week she has finally shared the secret to her enviable youthful looks: ‘A rested face is a beautiful face. However you can, find your place of rest and peace.’ She says the key to looking good is taking the time to relax.
However, that advice may only be part of her secret. When asked how she feels about cosmetic surgery, she showed she hasn’t wavered from her opinion in the 90s. She answered: ‘It’s very, very personal, you just have to do what makes you feel good.’
And trust me, I’m all for that.
